Choosing to start counseling can be a bit scary.  People enter therapy for many reasons, including, but not limited to, anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, or grief. Still others seek to discover more about themselves, to enrich their relationships, and to understand themselves better. Whatever your circumstances, therapy can be the first step in an empowering journey of self-awareness and transformational change.

Therapy is a proven treatment that has been shown to be as effective as medication but with the benefit of longer lasting results. Many people find that it provides relief from distress  and has had long lasting positive effects.  However, each journey will be different for every client.
