The vision of Alabama Center for Individual & Family Therapy, LLC (ACIFT) is to increase the mental health status, interpersonal relationships, emotional intelligence, self-esteem, and overall quality of life for every one of our clients.  We hope to not only make a positive impact on the lives of our clients, but to positively impact the community as well by strengthening family systems.

How We Plan To Make A Change

The mission of ACIFT is to provide individuals and families with quality mental health care utilizing evidenced based interventions that exhibit genuine care for each and every client.  We seek to provide mental health services using culturally competent and culturally sensitive practices in an effort to remain inclusive in the work that we do and the people that we serve.

Foundation for Our Work

Our values include providing a non-judgmental, safe and trustworthy space for individuals and families to thrive.  We seek to maintain an inclusive practice that does not discriminate against anyone based on any cultural factors.  Lastly, we seek to ensure that interventions and services provided aligns with our governing bodies’ ethical codes and guidelines, and with our agency’s mission and vision statements.
